Yin Tiger
Where to go
Chapter 3 · Zodiac Village, at the forge.
Before you can fight
Finish Chen Loong’s medicine request to obtain the Ruyi Scroll. Talk to Yin Tiger and choose Challenge. This optional duel is separate from the Mount Mei requirements.

What to watch
- Wait during his blade-sharpening stance; attacking into it invites a counter.
- During his disappearance sequence, prioritize reading the reappearance and finishing swing. A brief glimpse is not automatically an attack opening.
- Immobilize can be escaped. Do not budget the whole duel around a long hold.
A focused practice plan
- Choose a setup you already understand. This is a useful place to compare one defensive option at a time.
- Write down whether the problem is tracking him, dodging the finisher, or spending resources too early.
- After a practice session, record one visual cue that helped. After a win, revisit his dialogue rather than leaving immediately.
Session question: Am I attacking a real recovery, or just the first moment he becomes visible?
Rewards and the next step
Ebon Flow transformation. After winning, speak to him again to request another curio slot; his victory also unlocks the Iron-Tough armor crafting set.
