Erlang, the Sacred Divinity (Mount Mei)
Where to go
Mount Mei · Mei-Jian Peak, reached by returning to Chapter 3’s Great Pagoda late in the journey.
Before you can fight
Clear the secret realms in Chapters 1, 2, 4 and 5, finish the Treasure Hunter quest, and reach Chapter 6. Speak to the monk in the Great Pagoda. Beating the final boss first is not required.

What to watch
- Track the guard bar as well as health. Plantain Fan is an option for applying guard pressure; check that you collected it after Chapter 5.
- Long spear and lightning sequences punish attacking before the final follow-up. Make that last cue the subject of a practice attempt.
A focused practice plan
- Confirm the route prerequisites in your actual save; website checks are only reminders.
- Record when you spend your vessel and what happens to the guard bar. Keep the next trial comparable.
- After the full Mount Mei sequence, return to the final boss for the alternate ending. If you already cleared the standard ending, use Continue Journey rather than starting a new cycle.
Session question: What is my repeatable plan for the next guard bar, and which resource am I saving for it?
Rewards and the next step
This duel leads into The Four Heavenly Kings and transformed Erlang Shen. Completing that sequence grants Azure Dome and the Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear, and changes the ending available from the Chapter 6 finale.
